The other day, I legit chased my toddler around my street with no pants. ZERO pants. He was running all over the street and I didn’t have time to think about whether or not neighbors could see my saggy white rear end peeking out from underneath my shirt. I had a toddler to catch. If you happened to look out of your window and you live on my street… you’re welcome.
Sammy had a little toy in his hand. Josh reached for it and hands Sammy a pair of underwear. “Look mom, I sharing,” says Josh. I fully expected an epic meltdown from Sammy. Instead, he grins, grabs the undies and sticks them on his head. Boys.
This morning’s conversation when Joshua woke up:
J: “Mom, think about breakfast.”
Me: “Sweetheart, I can’t even put two sentences together, much less think about anything. Where’s my coffee.”
J: “Mom, you think about breakfast and I’ll watch a little bit of cartoons.”

Twas the night before Christmas and all you can hear, is the sound of two moppets, shrieking laughter. (My ears). Oh well, I’ll take that over fighting and crying any day. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good, if not quiet, night.
This time eight years ago, Dave lured me to the Camelback Inn on a diversion and proposed to me at sunset. He was so clever, I never suspected a THING. I ugly cried for five minutes, I was so happy. We were both excited, both unsure of the future, but we were SURE that God had put us together to partner in this life. And in the most difficult moments of our marriage, I can look past the feelings and still know that God has and continues to put us together every day. David Lin- you have my heart.
Guys. I wish you could watch Josh’s face as he watches Looney Tunes. I mean, he HOWLS with laughter. I’ve never seen him laugh like that at any other cartoons. The boy has a good sense of humor. I think I’ll keep him.
