Abacus: “Ummm, what happens if we don’t actually slide down and we end up rolling down, instead?”
Zeke: *looks up from his position in the box to raise his eyebrows at Abacus*
Zeke: “Yeah, so….”
Abacus: “Soooo, my stuffing would come out and you know how long it takes your mother to get anything done around here. My stuffing would be sitting outside my body for weeks!!”
Zeke: “Ew.”
Abacus: “Let’s go ask your mom to watch TV, instead.”
Zeke: “I already asked her like twenty times already.
Abacus: “What did she say?”
Zeke: “She said, “No.”
*Both fall silent*
Zeke: “But hey, asking again won’t hurt anything, right?
Abacus: “You could give her the choice of either us watching TV or sliding down the stairs in a box. You know adults like for us to give them solutions to our problems…”
Zeke: “I bet she’ll buy it.”
Abacus: “We’re solving our own problems.”
Zeke: “Being responsible is fun.”
Abacus: “Indeed.”
