So, as the primary chef in our house, I had a recent epiphany. My approach to cooking prior to Joshua was more like “Giada at Home.” “Ooh, what amazing concoction can I make for dinner tonight?” My approach now is definitely more like “Chopped.” “What’s in the refrigerator? How can I create something semi-yummy in 20 minutes or less!?” And the judges are Dave and Joshua going, “Is she going to get it on the plate?! She’s cutting it so close!!! OMG, just get everything plated!!!! AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH”
