Going to say “Happy Father’s Day” to this extraordinary man early, because he will again be working on the actual Father’s Day and I might be up a million times the night before and calming a hundred thousand fits and breaking up two dozen fights. It is so real and raw up in here. But he remains a committed, loving father and husband. A rock for the boys (and girl) and I. Every day that he is able to come home before sun down, he and the boys jump into the pool. He makes cookies for us. He rolls up his sleeves and does all the things that need doing. I love him to the moon and back and every new “hard” season, we hug each other and pledge to get through it together.
